I want to be one of Your workers.
Like You said, the harvest (truly) is great
But the laborers are few
And still, I can't believe the things I do
All my greed, lust, and pride—
I'm in a messed up frame of mind, lately... (right)
But I deal with it all the time. [It sucks.]
I know I should be around Your family.
Just don't know how to connect...
One foot drifting closer to You—a little bit closer, somehow
And the other away from You—sinking in the water
Please pull me together...
(So many "I"s and "me"s in this even...)
And so many possessions that I cannot keep
I cannot keep
I just can't seem to learn... when it's all gonna
