Calling of Levi

Summary

ある日、
イエスは海（みずうみ）の
湖畔に行って、
多くの人々がみもとに
集まってきたので、
彼らを教えられた、
いつもと同じように、
イエスは

また、途中で、
イエスは
レビというひとが
収税所に座っているのを
ごらんになった

イエスは立ち止まって、
みながら、レビのことを

レビー
　わたしに従ってきなさい
レビー
　ここから遠くまで
　　いけるよ
レビー
　あのお金はどうやって
　　あなたを
　救うことができるのは
　　あのお金か？

レビー

「わたしに
　従ってきなさい」
　とイエスは
　レビに言われた

すると
レビは立ち上がって
イエスについて行った

それから
レビの家で食事を
　食べに行った
イエスたちと

だけど
パリサイ人という人たちは
いろんな疑問があった
わからなかったのだ・・・

「罪人たちと
　そこまでも
　イエスのそばで
　食事をする・・・」

「なんということです？
そんな人たちと
食事をすること・・・」

イエスは答えた、

「丈夫な人には
　医者はいらない。
　しかし、
　いるのは
　病人である。」

One day, Jesus went out to
the shore beside the sea

There was a crowd of
people that gathered
around Jesus

And Jesus was teaching
the crowd, as usual

And, on his way,
Jesus saw a man named Levi
sitting at the tax collector’s booth

Jesus stopped for a moment
and looked at Levi

Levi–
　Follow me
Levi–
　You can go much further
　　than here!
Levi–
　How can that money
　　save you?
　Is what can save you
　　that money?

Levi–

Jesus said to Levi:
　“Follow me.”

And then
Levi stood up
And followed after Jesus

And then
Levi went to eat
　at his own house
With Jesus and the others

But
Those who are called the
　Pharisees
Had a lot of questions and
　doubts
They didn’t understand...

“Even eating with those
　sinners next to his
　side…”

“What is this? Eating with
　those kind of people...”

Jesus answered,

“It is not the healthy who
　need a physician,
　But those who are sick.”
